About

_MG_5887-Edit-2

I am a freelance writer in Murphysboro, IL. In fiction, I love to write modern fiction with a fantasy twist. Most of my freelance work these days consists of ghostwriting.  I’ve worked in numerous genres, including westerns, romance, women’s fiction, cozy mysteries, and memoirs.
When I was five years old, I wrote a story about the Easter Bunny painting eggs. I remember very clearly that I wrote it on one of those mini legal pads, and it was only about half a page long. My mom (who just so happens to be a writer herself) read it and told me how wonderful it was. It was that very moment, in a suburban basement in Aurora, Colorado, that I decided to be a writer.

  30. I like this. For me, it was always about creating a world with a little more humor and levity than this one. An element of fantasy makes all the difference.

PS, when I was a kid (I’m talking four or five) I swore I saw the Easter Bunny. I remember that he had a Neapolitan Ice Cream colored tail…I wonder if he paints his eggs in the same fashion.

  31. You were so fortunate to have that support.
