About

_MG_5887-Edit-2

I am a freelance writer in Murphysboro, IL. In fiction, I love to write children’s books, poetry, and modern fiction. I am also here to serve businesses that are seeking that special piece of writing to help them communicate with their customers. Whether you are looking for blog posts, web content, email solicitations, or ad copy for flyers and brochures, I am here to help you out.
When I was five years old, I wrote a story about the Easter Bunny painting eggs. I remember very clearly that I wrote it on one of those mini legal pads, and it was only about half a page long. My mom (who just so happens to be a writer herself) read it and told me how wonderful it was. It was that very moment, in a suburban basement in Aurora, Colorado, that I decided to be a writer.
There have been quite a few career changes since then, or at the very least proposed career changes. I have worked in a cabinet shop (yes, I DO know how to use power tools), in retail, and in finance. These have all been sidetracks to what I truly love, and I put it all on here for you to see.
Enjoy.
