Tarot Tuesday! Card of the Week from The Dragon Oracle

It’s Tuesday, and that means it’s time to check the cards and see what we need to know for the rest of the week.

This week’s pull is from The Dragon Oracle deck by Diana Cooper. I love dragons, so this is one of my favorite oracle decks!

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

The Silver Lunar Dragon brings the divine feminine energy of the moon, along with balance and peace. You can achieve this best by working with others and creating beautiful harmony. This is a good time to ask for the help you’ve been needing (something that’s not always easy for all of us!) or to finally accept the help that has been offered. Consider the advice of others, and trust those who are helping to move you in the right direction.

What does this card mean for you? Do you prefer tarot or oracle decks? Let me know in the comments!

Interested in a reading of your own?

You’ll receive a photo of the actual cards drawn and a thorough explanation of their meaning. The readings are done through email, so please ensure a valid email address is included with your payment! This is for a generalized reading with a deck that calls to me. If you have a specific question or needs, please feel free to email me at ashley@ashleyomelia.com and we can get it arranged. Thank you!

Tarot Tuesday! Card of the Week from The Good Tarot

It’s time once again for Tarot Tuesday to see what the rest of the week holds for us!

This week’s pull is from The Good Tarot by Colette Baron-Reid. These cards are just gorgeous and have so much energy when I’m working with them!

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

The King of Water represents someone who is mature and responsible, who knows how to take care of others when they need him. He knows how to listen to what everyone has to say and how to gather information before he makes any big decisions.

This card could represent you or another person in your life. Either way, the King of Water is strong, disciplined, and worthy of respect.

What does this card mean for you? Are there any card decks you’d like to see featured here? Let me know in the comments!

Tarot Tuesday! Card of the Week from The Spirit Animal Oracle

It’s time once again for Tarot Tuesday to see what the rest of the week holds for us!

This week’s pull is from The Spirit Animal Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid. I love the beautiful, misty artwork on these cards. And of course I always love anything that has to do with animals!

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

It’s time to dig down and work hard! Putting in the hard work isn’t always fun, but it pays off in the end! Ant Spirit also reminds us that working with others is extremely important. Collaborate with others and find your tribe. This is a good time to ask for help and to accept help that is offered.

What does this card mean for you? Are there any card decks you’d like me to explore? Leave me a comment and let me know!

Tarot Tuesday! Card of the Week from The Akashic Tarot

Needing a little guidance for the week? Then you’re in luck, because it’s Tarot Tuesday!

This week’s pull is from The Akashic Tarot by Sharon Anne Klingler and Sandra Anne Taylor. If you’re unfamiliar with them, the Akashic Records are fields of energy that contain all knowledge past and present. It’s a complex but fascinating idea. I recommend The Akashic Records Made Easy by Sandra Anne Taylor to explore it further.

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

It’s time to pay attention to the details. Anything big and great isn’t built from just one large piece. It’s made up of all the small pieces and the tiny processes that make it happen. On a more mundane level, this card could indicate that you’re literally going to be building something, whether it be a house or otherwise. In that case, don’t get too far ahead of yourself. Slow down and pay attention to all those details, and your efforts will pay off.

What did this card mean for you? How do you think your week is going to go? Let me know in the comments!

Thursday Things: Tell Me About Your Local Cryptids!

Welcome to Thursday Things, where you might find a rant, a rave, a question, or just about anything else! Let’s scrounge around in the junk drawer of my brain and see what we can find!

I know everyone wants to talk about crypto, but I just want to talk about cryptids! Tell me what legendary creatures live in your neck of the woods. After some freelancing projects, I’ve gotten a little extra interested in the subject.

Here in Murphysboro, we have the Big Muddy Monster. A bigfoot-like creature, he’s been honored numerous times in the naming of products and festivals. Our city has even published his case file online, which includes all sorts of great old documents from the 70s.

So, tell me all about your local cryptids!
