Tarot Tuesday: Card of the Week from the Animal Tarot!

Time to shake off that case of the Mondays and get ready for Tarot Tuesday! This week’s draw is from the Animal Tarot deck by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine. I love all the beautiful animals in this deck and the way that everything is connected to nature. If you’re interested in a personal reading, please see the bottom of this post.

The Magician is a great card in any tarot deck because it’s so empowering! It’s a reminder that we have the power of the infinite at our backs, and we can use that power to manifest our dreams. It only takes our intention to activate that power. Decide what you want, and you can make it happen!

Which does this card mean for you? What are you looking for when you turn to the tarot?

Thursday Things: The Hobby of Collecting Hobbies

Welcome to Thursday Things, where you might find a rant, a rave, a question, or just about anything else! Let’s scrounge around in the junk drawer of my brain and see what we can find!

As I’ve been working over my current journaling and focus system (something I’ll be writing about at some point), I’ve come to realize that I have way too many hobbies! In fact, you could almost say that one of my hobbies is to collect more hobbies! The main ones that I spend the most time on are writing, and reading. But I also cross stitch, quilt, crochet, paint, draw, play guitar, hike, kayak, go thrifting, collect fountain pens, collect old sci-fi books, and work with tarot and oracle cards. I also like to learn new things, so sometimes I take online classes. I think there are actually a few more hobbies than that, but I can’t remember them. Hmm.

What are your hobbies?

Tarot Tuesday! Card of the Week from The Sacred Traveler Oracle

It’s time once again for Tarot Tuesday to see what the rest of the week holds for us!

This week’s pull is from The Sacred Traveler Oracle by Denise Linn. The bold, otherworldly images on these cards really called out to me, and there’s just so much energy in these cards.

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

You can’t always see the path in front of you, and it may feel as though you’re wandering in the desert. Trust that you’re on the right path, and that Source is guiding you as it always has. Your instincts are important right now, and you need to follow them. Even if you felt as though you followed those instincts before and they misled you, take heart in knowing that there is a bigger picture. What might have felt like a wrong turn down your life’s path is still leading you to where you need to be.

What did this card mean for you? What journeys are you on? Let me know in the comments!

Thursday Things: What’s Your Least Favorite Chore?

Welcome to Thursday Things, where you might find a rant, a rave, a question, or just about anything else! Let’s scrounge around in the junk drawer of my brain and see what we can find!

There’s no getting around chores, at least not unless we want to end up on an episode of Hoarders. I don’t always feel like cleaning, but I definitely admit I like the result. Shows like The Home Edit are one of my favorite guilty pleasures.

However, one of my friends recently told me that her husband asked her when they got together what chore really overwhelmed her. She picked laundry (not a shocker), and he took it over completely. She hasn’t done a single bit of laundry in 15 years! (Definitely a shocker!)

So, what’s your least favorite chore? Not that I’m going to do it for you. 🙂

Tarot Tuesday! Card of the Week from Shadowscapes Tarot

It’s time once again for Tarot Tuesday! The energy of Monday is cleared away, and it’s time to look toward the rest of the week.

This week’s pull is from Shadowscapes Tarot by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law and Barbara Moore. It’s a beautifully illustrated deck with a guidebook that reads like a fantasy novel. It’s beautiful and inspiring, and I highly recommend it!

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

The Ten of Wands: Your burdens are very heavy. You’ve done a lot of hard work to make sure everyone else is taken care of, but this is coming at the cost of your own health and well-being. It can feel good to know that you’re bringing such nourishing care to others, but it can easily be overwhelming. Make sure everyone is doing their part.

What does this card mean for you? What kind of messages do you look for in the cards? Let me know in the comments!

Thursday Things: They’re Growing Up On Me

Welcome to Thursday Things, where you might find a rant, a rave, a question, or just about anything else! Let’s scrounge around in the junk drawer of my brain and see what we can find!

My youngest child is now 13. I really can’t say that I have any more babies, even though I often still think of them that way. It’s a very strange thing to know all my kids are closer to adulthood than they are their toddler years. Half the time I can’t decide if I want to celebrate or cry. I’m sure I’ll do a little bit of both over the next five years and then go from there.

Tarot Tuesday! Card of the Week from The Muse Tarot

The Muse Tarot is a beautiful card deck that brings a modern and yet poetic feeling divination. I find it very inspiring, especially when I’m working on my writing! Let’s see what the universe wants us to know for the week.

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

The Ace of Inspiration is a card of new beginnings and opportunities. What may feel like only the tiniest spark of creativity could be the start of a whole new journey. This card reminds us that even the most empty places, like the desert, are still absolutely full of life and creativity. If you’re feeling as though you have nothing to build on, just look around and you’ll find it.

What does this card mean for you? How do you feel about this deck? I’d love to know, so feel free to leave me a comment!
