Tarot Tuesday! Card of the Week from The Dragon Oracle

It’s Tuesday, and that means it’s time to check the cards and see what we need to know for the rest of the week.

This week’s pull is from The Dragon Oracle deck by Diana Cooper. I love dragons, so this is one of my favorite oracle decks!

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

You have so much to offer the world, and it’s time to bring it forth! Look deep within yourself. What wisdom do you have in your soul? What lessons have you learned? That knowledge can mean a lot to others, so it’s time to let it out. When you do, you’ll find that your own spiritual ascensions accelerates.

What does this card mean for you? Do you prefer tarot or oracle decks? Let me know in the comments!

Interested in a reading of your own?

You’ll receive a photo of the actual cards drawn and a thorough explanation of their meaning. The readings are done through email, so please ensure a valid email address is included with your payment! This is for a generalized reading with a deck that calls to me. If you have a specific question or needs, please feel free to email me at ashley@ashleyomelia.com and we can get it arranged. Thank you!

Tarot Tuesday! Card of the Week from The Good Tarot

It’s time once again for Tarot Tuesday to see what the rest of the week holds for us!

This week’s pull is from The Good Tarot by Colette Baron-Reid. These cards are just gorgeous and have so much energy when I’m working with them!

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

The suit of fire represents our actions and intentions, our creativity and our passions. The Queen of Fire knows how to rule all of these, but she also understands that she must often work together with someone to make it reach its fullest potential. She reminds us to let our friendships inspire us as we use our creativity to express ourselves.

This card could represent you or another person in your life. Is there an artist or another passionate creator you could be working with?

What does this card mean for you? Are there any card decks you’d like to see featured here? Let me know in the comments!

Tarot Tuesday! Card of the Week from The Spirit Animal Oracle

It’s time once again for Tarot Tuesday to see what the rest of the week holds for us!

This week’s pull is from The Spirit Animal Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid. I love the beautiful, misty artwork on these cards. And of course I always love anything that has to do with animals!

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

An elephant never forgets, and it’s important that we don’t, either! The past can be painful, but knowing where we’ve been helps us forge new paths and decide where we want to go. Honor your past. Connect with those older than you, hear what they have to say and the lessons that could still be learned. If there is pain in your past, use it as your fuel to grow and change.

What does this card mean for you? Are there any card decks you’d like me to explore? Leave me a comment and let me know!

Tarot Tuesday! Card of the Week from The Akashic Tarot

Needing a little guidance for the week? Then you’re in luck, because it’s Tarot Tuesday!

This week’s pull is from The Akashic Tarot by Sharon Anne Klingler and Sandra Anne Taylor. If you’re unfamiliar with them, the Akashic Records are fields of energy that contain all knowledge past and present. It’s a complex but fascinating idea. I recommend The Akashic Records Made Easy by Sandra Anne Taylor to explore it further.

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

You can achieve your goals! There may be some risks and hard work involved, but the view from the top will make it worth it! Keep your efforts strong because you know you’ll soon be lifted to a higher position.

What did this card mean for you? How do you think your week is going to go? Let me know in the comments!

Thursday Things: A Little Bit of Art History I Never Expected

Welcome to Thursday Things, where you might find a rant, a rave, a question, or just about anything else! Let’s scrounge around in the junk drawer of my brain and see what we can find!

Did you know that Pablo Picasso was once accused of stealing the Mona Lisa? Or that, until the theft happened, the Mona Lisa wasn’t really all that famous? I ran across this fantastic little story (I swear it was all research for a book!) and I just had to share!

Side Note: I got to see some of Picasso’s works in person at an art exhibition recently. I’m glad I got to see them, because hey, it’s Picasso. But I can’t say that I was moved me at all. I was disappointed.
