As with many of my other pens, this one came from the iPen subscription box in May 2018. The theme was purple, and this giant purple pen fit right in!
With a comfortable grip and smooth tip, I thought at first this would be a pen I would truly enjoy. Unfortunately, the barrel is just too big! It makes my fingers sore after a while, and I feel like I climbed up a beanstalk and stole this pen from a giant’s desk. While overall it’s a nice pen, it’s not one that I tend to reach for.

Interesting, because I like a thick pen. I find it easier to hold and children learning to write should use a thicker pen. Perhaps I’ve never grown out of the child stage.
I guess I’m picky, because I don’t like them to thick or too thin. I usually write fairly quickly…I wonder if that had anything to do with it.
I am not a fan of thick pens. I agree they do hurt my hand after awhile. Of course, I have several in my crazy collection. As a matter of fact my pens from the iPen store came today and since I saw this fountain pen for $4 on clearance, I bought it. It is thick, too. But for $4 I’m going to try it out. (I know I keep saying this but dying for book 3. They are SOO good)
