Tarot Tuesday! Pick Your Card from Shadowscapes Tarot

It’s time once again for Tarot Tuesday! The energy of Monday is cleared away, and it’s time to look toward the rest of the week.

This week’s pull is from Shadowscapes Tarot by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law and Barbara Moore. It’s a beautifully illustrated deck with a guidebook that reads like a fantasy novel.

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

Study the photo below and see which card calls to you (1, 2, or 3). You may want to know what the week holds for you in general, or you may have a specific question in mind. Regardless of what you want to know, let your spirit guide you on your card. You’ll find the cards and their meanings below.

#1 – The Devil: Something is holding you back. You feel like you’re stuck, and probably not in a good place. However, just like the woman on the card, you actually have a way out if you will only look for it! Don’t let hindrances stop you from doing what you need to do.

#2 – Page of Swords: The page brings a message to you, and it is one of balance, clarity, and change. Keep your world balanced, but look at it with a youthful optimism. The page could also represent someone new coming into your life in a positive way.

#3 – The Chariot: You have a goal, and it’s time to set your plan forth in order to achieve it. Your drive and your stamina will get you most of the way there, but you need to forge your way forward on a determined path. This card also suggests balance, just as the Page of Swords did, so make sure you’re looking at everything around you and taking all into account before you charge forward.

Which card did you pick? Did it mean anything for you? I’d love to know, so feel free to leave me a comment!

Tarot Tuesday: New Deck! The Muse Tarot by Chris-Anne

Here’s the other new deck I promised last week! I often pick decks that are based around nature, past lives, and mystical images. The Muse Tarot by Chris-Anne, however, really pulled at me while I was shopping around.

The images are much more modern than anything else I have, but I just love them! I think variety is important, and I’m sure there will be times when the questions at hand require this deck instead of others. You can see below that there are modernized version of some cards that are familiar, but (like with many other decks) the suits are slightly different.

The backs of the cards also have a beautiful, simplistic design. Even the inside of the box is pretty!

I look forward to getting to know this deck better, and you’ll be seeing it added to my rotation soon enough! Are there any tarot or oracle decks that you’d like to explore?

Tarot Tuesday: New Deck! The Wisdom of Avalon by Colette Baron-Reid

Every now and then, it’s time for a new deck! I’ve always been obsessed with Arthurian legend, so picking The Wisdom of Avalon by Colette Baron-Reid was a no-brainer for me. While soon enough you’ll see me doing my typical Tarot Tuesday in which you’ll get to choose a card from this deck, I wanted to give you a quick overview and share it with you!

I feel it’s important to connect with a deck, and it’s so easy for me to feel the magic in this one! Just look at these wonderful images! I’m thrilled to see both Merlin and the Lady of the Lake, and the deck is mixed in with more day-to-day ideas like the one on the left.

Even the backs of the cards are gorgeous. I feel they inspire the mythical and the spiritual with their beautiful design.

I look forward to getting to know this deck better, and you’ll be seeing it added to my rotation soon enough! There will be another new deck next week, so be sure to check back!

#1 – 4 of Water: Things are stable right now, and perhaps they’re stable to the point of stagnation. Are you feeling like your relationship isn’t making progress? Or your creative endeavors just aren’t going anywhere? Allow your disappointment to wash through you so you can move past it. The universe has a plan for you, but it’s not always given to you in the way you expect.

#2 – Four of Fire: Take pleasure in your relationships and friendships. Things are solid and steady, which means it’s the perfect time to celebrate! Others are in sync with you right now, so enjoy all that you can create together.

#3 – 8 of Fire: You have been or are about to be traveling to new places, either spiritual or physical. Things are moving swiftly, so let that momentum energize you.

Which card did you pick? Did it mean anything for you? I’d love to know, so feel free to leave me a comment!

It’s time once again for Tarot Tuesday to see what the rest of the week holds for us!

This week’s pull is from The Spirit Animal Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid. I love the beautiful, misty artwork on these cards. And of course I always love anything that has to do with animals!

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post or visit me on eBay.

#1 – Butterfly Spirit: Change isn’t always easy, but the Butterfly Spirit knows that wonderful things are waiting on the other side. You may be looking at a job or location change, or experiencing a transition in your relationship. Don’t get wrapped up in all the what-if’s and try to make the most of these new transformations.

#2 – Deer Spirit: Deer Spirit reminds us that it’s possible to be both confident and accommodating as we work toward our goals. You may find that you need to negotiate with others, but you’re more than capable. Walk slowly and steadily in the direction you need to go. This is a time when thinking of others first could be very beneficial for you.

#3 – Antelope Spirit: It’s time to get moving! If things feel a bit intense, take advantage of that as you move swiftly toward your goals. Even if the pace your life is taking feels a bit dizzy, try to relax and enjoy the ride.

Which card did you pick? Did it mean anything for you? I’d love to know, so feel free to leave me a comment!

Tarot Tuesday! Pick Your Card from The Akashic Tarot

Needing a little guidance for the week? Then you’re in luck, because it’s Tarot Tuesday!

This week’s pull is from The Akashic Tarot by Sharon Anne Klingler and Sandra Anne Taylor. If you’re unfamiliar with them, the Akashic Records are fields of energy that contain all knowledge past and present. It’s a complex but fascinating idea. I recommend The Akashic Records Made Easy by Sandra Anne Taylor to explore it further.

#1 – 6 of Keys: You have all the resources around you to the do the work you need to do. This is a time of balance, and it may seem as if the very stars have aligned to make things easier for you. Take advantage of it, know that things are as they should be, and create away!

#2 – 1 of Keys: The architect begins his work by studying his plans and envisioning the good things that will come. This card could be literal, meaning that you’re getting ready to start building or remodeling a home or other building. It could also be a reminder that you can do great things if you step in and take charge as you’re meant to. You have the necessary skills, so don’t be shy!

This is the card I picked for myself. For me, I believe it’s literal. I need to finish remodeling my bathroom!

#3 – Reflection: You are about to take a trip, but is it a physical or a spiritual one? If you’re planning a vacation, know that this is a good time to go. You may also be thinking a lot about your own psychic power, or you may have new opportunities to consider in that realm. You’re open to learning new things, and this is a good time to learn more.

Which card did you pick? Did it mean anything for you? I’d love to know, so feel free to leave me a comment!

#1 – The Sun: Things are good! Your love life is in order, your investments are paying off, your career is heading in the right direction, and family celebrations are probably coming your way. Joy, energy, and good health are all yours.

#2 – Knight of Wands: When it comes to pursuing your passions, you’re hurtling forward at breakneck speed. Some may see you as overconfident, but it’s only because they don’t see how thoroughly you understand your goal. Be careful of those whom you might unknowingly trample along the way.

#3 – Six of Pentacles: Things are in balance right now. This could be your finances, your health, or the way you communicate with others. Even if you feel that you’re in a good enough position to freely donate your resources to others, remember that even those who seem to be in lower places also help hold you up.

Tarot Tuesday: Pick Your Card from the Radiant Rider-Waite!

You’re done with the negative energy that’s so often associated with the beginning of the week. It’s time to see what the universe has in store for you now! This week’s pull is from the Radiant Rider-Waite deck by Avia Venefica. It’s essentially what’s thought of as a traditional tarot deck, but the illustrations have been recolored and remastered to give them new life. I highly recommend this deck and guide book! If you’re interested in a personal reading, please see the bottom of this post or visit me on eBay.

Study the picture below. If you have a question or situation you’re concerned about, hold that in the front of your mind as you choose your card. You can also simply pick the one that calls to you. When you’re ready, scroll down to find the meaning of your card.

#1 – The Hermit: The Hermit looks inside himself to become at peace with his mind and learn more along his spiritual journey. This is a time for you to do the same. Meditation, silence, or simply being alone may be very good for you right now.

#2 – Page of Swords: You or someone you know is about to receive good news. It will come quickly, and you’ll be in a good position to act fast on your next endeavor. The page engages with the future with youthful enthusiasm.

#3 – Three of Swords: You’ve experienced a misunderstanding, a betrayal, or hurt feelings. While that pierces your heart and makes life difficult for you, don’t let it get you down. This is the time to address those problems. Examine your love life for doubts, watch for people who might be trying to take your position at work, and check your finances for long-term solutions.

Which card did you pick? What did it mean for you? I’d love to know, so feel free to leave a comment.
