Who’s up for a challenge? This is one that was shared by another author friend, and it just looked like too much fun to resist! Sure, it’s geared toward Instagram, but I’m not huge on IG, so I figured I could just as easily do it here! (And I’m a day late, but we don’t have to talk about that part, right?)
Day 2 – Share a writing related moment you’d like to repeat: It’s not always easy to have confidence in your own writing. It doesn’t matter how many books you sell, or how many good reviews you get, or even if you have steady freelance work with clients who are happy to keep you employed. Imposter syndrome is a real thing!
Yesterday, though, I had to read back over a scene I wrote a few weeks ago. And guys, it was good. I mean, really good. If you’re a writer, you know that you don’t always remember exactly what you wrote. I definitely didn’t remember all these words that I’d apparently put down, but I was sure grateful to my past self for doing so! It was one of those moments that makes me go, “Hey, I really do know what I’m doing!”
How about you? If you’re a writer, have you had any fantastic moments you’d like to experience again? I’d love to know about it!
