The Emperor represents authority and confidence. This is a time for you to follow the rules and keep your affairs in order. It could be a good time to deal with the government, banks, or schools. This card could also represent an authority figure in your life. Lean on them, trust them, and know that they will help take care of you.

Tarot Tuesday! Card of the Week from The Spirit Animal Oracle

It’s time once again for Tarot Tuesday to see what the rest of the week holds for us!

This week’s pull is from The Spirit Animal Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid. I love the beautiful, misty artwork on these cards. And of course I always love anything that has to do with animals!

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

Spirit is trying to communicate with you, and it’s time to listen! Messages don’t always come through in obvious ways, so you need to pay attention to all those signs and symbols that have been coming your way. Just as a hawk flies over the land and sees both the big picture and the small details, so should you be looking for the little details that add up to a much bigger message. We don’t want to assign meaning where there isn’t any, but Hawk Spirit is telling you that the meaning is definitely there!

What does this card mean for you? Are there any card decks you’d like me to explore? Leave me a comment and let me know!

Tarot Tuesday! Card of the Week from The Akashic Tarot

Needing a little guidance for the week? Then you’re in luck, because it’s Tarot Tuesday!

This week’s pull is from The Akashic Tarot by Sharon Anne Klingler and Sandra Anne Taylor. If you’re unfamiliar with them, the Akashic Records are fields of energy that contain all knowledge past and present. It’s a complex but fascinating idea. I recommend The Akashic Records Made Easy by Sandra Anne Taylor to explore it further.

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

It’s time for you to be with your community. This could be family, friends, or any other group. Perhaps you need to remake your old connections or build new ones. If new people are coming into your life, be open and receptive to what they bring along with them. While we all can use some time alone, right now you need to surround yourself with souls who bring you light and laughter.

Tarot Tuesday: Card of the Week from the Animal Tarot!

Time to shake off that case of the Mondays and get ready for Tarot Tuesday! This week’s draw is from the Animal Tarot deck by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine. I love all the beautiful animals in this deck and the way that everything is connected to nature. If you’re interested in a personal reading, please see the bottom of this post.

Spring is the suit of creativity and action, and the monarch butterfly is here to let you know that things are changing! Opportunities are headed your way, and they likely involve your creative endeavors or something you’re very passionate about. It’s possible that this card represents a person in your life, someone who is bringing new ideas and tons of energy to the table. She may flit from one thing to another, but she’ll change your entire outlook.

Which does this card mean for you?

Tarot Tuesday! Card of the Week from Shadowscapes Tarot

It’s time once again for Tarot Tuesday! The energy of Monday is cleared away, and it’s time to look toward the rest of the week.

This week’s pull is from Shadowscapes Tarot by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law and Barbara Moore. It’s a beautifully illustrated deck with a guidebook that reads like a fantasy novel. It’s beautiful and inspiring, and I highly recommend it!

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

The suit of pentacles deal with earthly materials and resources, like money or the body. The King of Pentacles has all of these things perfectly managed. He knows how to take a small seed and turn it into a fruitful crop. Whatever he sets out to do, he sees through to its fruition. The King is more than willing to share his bounty. He is as strong and stable as a tree, the perfect person to lean on in tough times. This card could represent you, or it could also be a strong male figure in your life. If you’re considering trying something new or taking a risk, it’ll probably go well for you. If you’re having trouble, find the real King of Pentacles in your life and lean on him for support.

#1 – The Muse of Materials: The Muse of Materials signifies the culmination of a journey toward material success and earth energy. This is a time of abundance, prosperity, and satisfaction with your life.

#2 – 9 of Voices: Anxiety and worries are keeping you awake at night, creeping into your dreams, or keeping your mind spinning when you’re awake. Know that these fears are simply your own creations. Worrying about something doesn’t make it real. Allow spirit to calm you.

#3 – Knight of Inspiration: This card is about passion and purpose. It’s time to charge ahead and allow spontaneous creation to happen. There may be some risks, but that’s often the price we pay when following our dreams. Alternatively, are you moving too fast in your life? It may be time for you to slow down.

Which card did you pick? Did it mean anything for you? I’d love to know, so feel free to leave me a comment!

Tarot Tuesday! Pick Your Card from The Wisdom of Avalon Oracle Cards

Sometimes we can look to the magic of the past to discover what the present and future hold for us, which is what I feel The Wisdom of Avalon Oracle cards can do for us. Let’s find out what the cards hold this week.

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

Study the photo below and see which card calls to you (1, 2, or 3). You may want to know what the week holds for you in general, or you may have a specific question in mind. Regardless of what you want to know, let your spirit guide you on your card. You’ll find the cards and their meanings below.

#1 – The Earth Faery: The Earth Faery is here to remind you to stay grounded and connected with the Earth. Get outside, get your hands in the dirt, feel the sunshine on your face. She’s also calling you to pay attention to your body. Our physical body is important while it houses us here on Earth. Indulge in your senses, get some exercise, and think about how you’re eating. Your body is your temple.

#2 – The Stag: The Stag asks you to hold your head high, be proud, and act as a leader. This isn’t the kind of pride that becomes arrogance and cuts you off from your community. It is taking satisfaction in the work you’ve done and what it’s brought you. Become an example for others.

#3 – Burden: What kind of burdens are you carrying around? We carry a lot of baggage through life, but most of it isn’t needed. If you’re holding onto a burden so that someone else doesn’t have to deal with it, let it go and know that you aren’t helping if you’re keeping them from learning the lessons of life. If you’re holding onto a unhealthy relationship because you’re worried about what the world might hold for you, know that you deserve better. Let go of your burdens and give them over to the divine so that you can continue on your path freely.

Which card did you pick? Did it mean anything for you? I’d love to know, so feel free to leave me a comment!

Tarot Tuesday: Pick Your Card from the Radiant Rider-Waite!

You’re done with the negative energy that’s so often associated with the beginning of the week. It’s time to see what the universe has in store for you now! This week’s pull is from the Radiant Rider-Waite deck by Avia Venefica. It’s essentially what’s thought of as a traditional tarot deck, but the illustrations have been recolored and remastered to give them new life. I highly recommend this deck and guide book! If you’re interested in a personal reading, please see the bottom of this post.

Study the picture below. If you have a question or situation you’re concerned about, hold that in the front of your mind as you choose your card. You can also simply pick the one that calls to you. When you’re ready, scroll down to find the meaning of your card.

#1 – The Hierophant: The Hierophant is a call to seek spiritual guidance. Rely on tradition and ceremony, and seek the counsel of authority figures. Perhaps this is a time for you to get in touch with your spiritual side, or it could be a sign to seek help and counseling with deep issues that’ve been bothering you.

#2 – Temperance: Moderation and balance are key to leading a healthy lifestyle and to protecting the world around us. Focus on your health and healing, and maintain balance wherever you can. Take action to bring about harmony.

#3 – The Empress: The Empress represents birth and new life, as well as motherhood and feminine influence. This could represent literally pregnancy, or the birth of a new idea. It is a reminder to nurture and protect those who need it. The wheat fields surrounding her remind us to enjoy the fruits of our labor.

Which card did you pick? What did it mean for you? I’d love to know, so feel free to leave a comment.

#1 – Omega Dragon: The Omega Dragon hold divine feminine power, and is here to help you bring life to your projects, your visions, and even to aspects of yourself that you’ve been keeping hidden. Retain your vision for the highest good and know that it is coming. This could also represent a powerful woman in your life who is going to help you.

#2 – Alpha Dragon: Just as the Omega Dragon is feminine energy, so is the Alpha Dragon masculine energy. Power and strength are with you as you manifest a new world. Sometimes, in order to create the new, the old must be destroyed. The Alpha Dragon has the power to do that, but it must be used carefully.

#3 – Thor’s Red, Black, and Gold Dragon: You’re ready for change, or perhaps you’re already going through it, but change can be scary. This card reminds you that you are protected and safe. It’s also a reminder that there’s nothing wrong with asking for help as you go through these changes, because that will bring you extra assurance you may be needing at this time. Alternatively, is there someone who needs your help, that you can protect?

Which card did you pick? Did it mean anything for you? I’d love to know, so feel free to leave me a comment!
