Tarot Tuesday! Pick Your Card from The Sacred Traveler Oracle

We’ve made it through Monday, and now it’s time for Tarot Tuesday! What does the rest of the week hold for you?

This week’s pull is from The Sacred Traveler Oracle by Denise Linn. The bold, otherworldly images on these cards really called out to me, and there’s just so much energy in these cards.

If you’re interested in a reading of your own, please see the bottom of this post.

Study the photo below and see which card calls to you (1, 2, or 3). You may want to know what the week holds for you in general, or you may have a specific question in mind. Regardless of what you want to know, let your spirit guide you on your card. You’ll find the cards and their meanings below.

#1 – In the Flow: It’s time to relax and enjoy where life takes you. There’s so much we can’t control, but you don’t need to control it! Don’t urge the river of life to move faster, and don’t swim against it. Be grateful for what you have.

#2 – Grounding: Be present in the moment. This is something that many of us struggle with, but it’s important to remember what’s truly essential in your life and let the rest go. This card could also be telling you to stand your ground or stand up for someone else.

#3 – Faraway Places: New things are coming! You may be getting ready to travel and go to new places physically, or this could be a spiritual change within you. One could even inspire the other! It may be time to let go of old habits and routines to change up your day-to-day life, or this could be a sign to finally take the trip you always wanted.

Which card did you pick? Did it mean anything for you? I’d love to know, so feel free to leave me a comment!

Tarot Tuesday! Pick Your Card from The Sacred Traveler Oracle

It’s time once again for Tarot Tuesday to see what the rest of the week holds for us!

This week’s pull is from The Sacred Traveler Oracle by Denise Linn. The bold, otherworldly images on these cards really called out to me, and there’s just so much energy in these cards.

#1 – Ascending the Mountain: Press on! Even if things are tough, even if it seems as though the mountain is just impossibly high, you have to keep going. You know that what’s at the top of that mountain is totally worth all that hard work in the end, but it’s easy to forget when you’re struggling up the slope. Is that mountain your own barrier that you’ve set up to stop your own success? Then this is the time to trudge right up and over it.

#2 – Breaking Trail: Something new and exciting is coming, and sometimes you have to find your own way to it. If someone hasn’t already blazed that trail for you, then it’s up to you. You’re working through all the emotional blockages that have stopped you before and pushing away anything that stands in your path to success.

#3 – View from Above: Just as this card says, it’s time to look at the big picture. It’s too easy to get caught up in all the little things in life that might stop you, so now is the time to take a step back and see what’s truly important. That’s the information you need to make major life decisions. This card also invites you to get a different perspective on your troubles, whether it’s seeing someone else’s viewpoint or simply looking at things from a different angle.

Tarot Tuesday! Pick Your Card!

It’s been so hard to get around to these posts lately! I hurt my back a few weeks ago, and that left me barely getting through the day for about a week. Things are on the mend now, and it’s time to get back down to business. Let’s pick some cards for the week!

This card is from the Sacred Traveler Oracle deck by Denise Linn. In a time when many of us are faced with being stuck indoors or unable to travel, this is a great deck to help us think about new places as we work on our inner selves.

Choose the card from the picture below that calls to you the most (1, 2, or 3). If you have a question in mind, ask it. Let your heart and mind guide you.

#1 – Protected by Angels: You need to know that there are always angelic forces guiding your path. Even when it doesn’t feel like it, you’re heading in the right direction and constantly being guided. You simply need to be open, and you’ll feel their presence. You may even find physical evidence of this guidance in the form of a feather.

A secondary meaning for this card is that you are the healing, angelic force in someone else’s life.

#2 – Begin Now: It’s time to start that journey that’s been on your mind! This isn’t necessarily a physical journey, though it could be. Let go of anything that’s holding you back, and understand that you often have to let go of the old to bring in the new. You’ll never know what’s waiting out there for you unless you go find out for yourself!

#3 – Miracles: Something exciting and majestic is just waiting to happen in your life! Keep in mind that a miracle can take any number of forms. The more you pay attention to even the tiniest phenomena, the more you’ll see around you. Life itself is a miracle and a reason for celebration, so revel in the glory of it and know that bigger and better things are coming your way!

What card did you choose? What did it mean for you and the week ahead? I’d love to know!

Tarot Tuesday!

I confess I missed Tarot Tuesday last week! I certainly didn’t mean to, but time has really been getting away from me lately. This week, time to forge ahead!

This card is from the Sacred Traveler oracle deck by Denise Linn. It’s really quite a stunning deck, and the matte finish on the cards feels wonderful in the hand.

Answering the Call: This card is the sign you’ve been looking for! It’s the call you must answer, because this is the time. There’s no more waiting around, feeling uncertain. Whether it’s that big decision or that exciting-but-scary thing you want to do, it’s time to do it.

I was lucky enough that this card was actually one I pulled for a friend seeking advice about her job. I often feel that the cards tell us what we already know, and I think this is the case here.

The artwork on the cards is important to me, and I think there’s an interesting message on Answering the Call. The lines in the trees and the deer’s antlers reflect similar lines on the ivy and tree behind the woman. It’s as though the entire universe conspires to help us make these choices, and even though our destiny is right there in front of us, sometimes we need it to be as obvious as a big wooden door to see it!

What does Answering the Call mean to you? Do you have any big decisions you’re making this week?
